Tijuana

Baja California, Mexico

Tijuana is a very interesting place. Walking down Revolution boulevard will get you lots of vendors, clubs and people walking by. If you are going to Tijuana, a few things to help you out.

Don’t drive into Mexico, the crossing alone will take you 3 hours at the border, each way. Instead Drive to the border or get the train and get off at the end and walk across. It takes no time at all. Then get in a cab to where you are going, it is advised not to walk around, cabs are cheap and worth it.

Tijuana is where the Ceasar Salad was first invented by Caesar Cardini on the 4th of July in 1924, however getting one there is not something I looked into because of time constraints. Instead I had a Stuffed pepper at a vendor and then sat at Taco el Revu which is where you wanna be. The couple that cooks there in front of you is awesome. The man used to be a boxer and has a great look to him complete with curled mustache. He cooked us one of the best Quesadillas with Mexican cheese that I have ever had. WOW. Also I grabbed an Indio beer, for me the best Mexican beer I’ve had. Taco el Revu on avenida revolucion and Carrillo Puerto.

Till next time,
